Though they are easily available in the market, these days many people are enjoying making them at their homes. Since the procedure for making soy candles is relatively simple, one can make these candles to one’s choice, both in terms of their color and fragrance. Further, this spare time activity can be carried out using normal household articles.
Like colors, various fragrances have always fascinated man. A particular fragrance can transform the atmosphere dramatically. People in Asian countries have long been known to use various fragrance sticks for meditation etc. Scented soy candles can also be used for creating a particular moods. Fragrances such as cherry, cinnamon, vanilla etc are thought to create a ‘warm’ atmosphere which is very inviting. Scents of pumpkin, peppermint etc represent a rather festive mood. But even for our day-today pleasure, one can just use soy candles of one’s favorite fragrance either to enjoy a particular mood or to relax one’s body and soul.
Scented soy candles available in the market do come with various fragrances. One therefore needs to have some primary knowledge of basic fragrances and their effects and moods. In case one plans to make such candles at home as a hobby, it is important to know which fragrances are compatible with the kind of soy wax one is using. A bit of experience in this field can definitely be helpful in developing an ability to recognize fragrances and their moods to make one’s world more enjoyable.
